La Sien is an indigenous beverage brand that is committed to providing safe and clean water for society plus other beverage drinks to be created in due time. They were in need of a professional brand agency to help them through the evolution process of the brand which was already six years old at the time. Mapemond was contracted and saddled with the task of restructuring the brand and also developing a new corporate brand identity for the company as well as its flagship product – La Sien Premium Bottled Water.
Our work spanned across facilitating the redefinition of the company’s vision, mission and values. A 50 years vision was mapped and the business goals in milestones were projected as well. We then created a new identity for the corporate brand alongside designs for letterhead paper, visual identity manual, vehicle branding, ID Cards, and so on. We also managed the print production process of most of the designs including the installation of vehicle branding.
We set up the social media platforms, designed a strategy and executed the first campaign which was tagged “Keep It Nearby”. A follow-up campaign was also created tagged #MyUnfoldingStory which is yet to be implemented.
A city wide research was conducted covering supermarkets, stores, bars and operators within the FMCGs sector in Port Harcourt. We wrote a detailed report based on the research and the report helped in shaping the distribution strategies and business decisions of the company.
And of course, our work won’t be complete without communicating the brand to employees at all levels. We began with management staff and cascaded to administrative, logistics and production staff in communicating the new brand vision to each category of employees.
The project has been ongoing for over a year now and preparations are in place to expand distribution to other parts of the country beyond the present ten states that are being served.
