- From being a listener to our radio live appearance on Naija FM, to phone calls for inquires, then visits at the office; Boben int’l hotels became our esteemed client which we share a successful business relationship with. The hotel although fully operational for over 5 years prior, struggled with sales which negatively impacted their revenue. This seemed to be their biggest challenge which compelled them to actively source out professional help. Our journey with the, began in October 2022 and lasted through to July 2023, where we deployed our expertise from business process improvement to marketing and sales. In the end, it was truly a transformational experience for Boben Int’l Limited. Our satisfaction was in seeing how all our efforts and solutions brought clarity to the business in terms of how to increase sales, brand positioning, and profit maximization.
BACKGROUND
- Boben International Limited is in the hospitality industry. A hotel offering lodging, restaurant, and bar services for all individuals who desire to get away and enjoy pocket-friendly, quality relaxation in Port Harcourt in quiet and serene hotel premises. Haven put a lot of effort into setting up and marketing the business as best as they knew over the years without significant results, hearing us MAPEMOND LIMITED on the radio prompted the founder of Boben, a renowned king of a community in Rivers State, to immediately call our line for our help. His desire for the business is for it to be profitable and generally successful. After retirement from practices as a successful Doctor, this Hotel wasn’t just another business idea but also intended as his legacy. Before our involvement, the business suffered misuse of resources, low patronage, and more which led to financial losses. When we got involved, our aim was to create pointers and tailored plans that would improve sales for Boben Int’l Hotel, strengthen its visibility, and expand its customer base, to enable it to compete favorably in the industry. To achieve this for the brand, we first carried out a brand audit and deployed the basic package of our Marketing and sales service package, which includes but is not limited to brand audit, identity upgrade, marketing, and sales plan, etc.
NEED STATEMENT

The founder first approached us with the request to develop a better Marketing system/process for the business, however, after our business audit, we were able to deduce that what Boben Int’l Hotel needed was more than a Marketing plan.
From our audit, we found out that some internal areas of the business needed overhauling and better structuring; they required a better recording system, their operational system needed some fine-tuning, the look and feel of the hotel needed an upgrade, they needed a more defined marketing and sales strategy, etc.

- Carried out a detailed business audit to ascertain the previous efforts of the business and the present situation of the business to know how best to position it for its future.
- Reviewed the company recordkeeping system, and advised them on the most effective way for the business.

- Vendor management; provided oversight functions in the execution of the space upgrade (rooms upgrade, significant environmental changes, systems upgrade, kitchen upgrade etc.)
